Trusting Splendor Boats For 10+ Years

It’s summer number 11 on the water with my Splendor SunStar deck boat. I love it! I so enjoy having the room of a pontoon but the speed of a ski boat. It handles waves well and gets good gas economy, especially for the boat’s size.

It will turn on a dime and I like the way Splendor let me customize the boat to have exactly what I want on it. I went with the black sides and some custom graphics that make it look super sharp.

I also had Splendor rig it for fishing with a large trolling motor and an easy-to-use mount so the trolling motor can be removed for non-fishing days on the water. I got the stainless fishing rod holders put at the front of the boat and after 11 years on the water, there’s still no rust!

Splendor added snap-in fishing seats that are comfortable and easy to put on and take off the boat, so now I have all three types of boats I need combined into one vessel. I can fish, ski, wakeboard, or just have plenty of room to lounge on the boat with friends.

I can put 8 adults on the boat without feeling crowded and even with that kind of load, it runs smoothly.

My Splendor SunStar is the fourth brand of boat I’ve owned and I can tell you that if I ever need another new boat, it too will be a Splendor. I have truly appreciated the responses and help I received from Splendor on the occasions when I needed information or a small part of my boat.

I did a small bit of damage to the gel coat when I first got my lift for the boat and didn’t know how to use it correctly. A local fiberglass shop fixed it for me and the owner was interested in my boat and who made it.

When I asked him why, he said that my Splendor boat was still made the way boats are supposed to be made and solid as a rock! He was impressed with the quality and told me he could tell the people who made my boat know what they’re doing and care about quality.

11 years on the water and I’m still happy with my catamaran deck boat from Splendor.
