Wood-Free Hull

We have embraced innovation using 100% wood-free hulls in all of our boats. Wood is more susceptible to rot than other materials and can deteriorate over time due to moisture exposure. 

Choosing to go wood-free ensures our boats are more dimensionally stable and resilient on the water year after year. We can also guarantee that our boats will never contain traces of formaldehyde like boats made with wood often do.

Coosa Composites

Instead of wood for our hulls, we chose to partner with Coosa Composites to provide hulls made from a lightweight fiberglass material. This material is 30 to 50% lighter than marine-grade plywood. 

The best part about Coosa Composites is the environmental advantage. These panels require less energy during production and leave a minimal carbon footprint. Plus, they’re not susceptible to rotting, molding, or insect infestation.

Catamarans also provide enhanced performance, resulting in greater fuel efficiency, which is an easy way to reduce your carbon footprint.
